I’m trying something new as I rekindle my affection for this game. My character hit 3 years old on May 2nd and boy am I feeling it. Wow, what a three years it’s been. In this episode I cover a few dev blogs listed below. I then go on an epic journey on the Sisi server. Join me as a test out the new probing system, hunt for the new Clone NPC’s and try my luck with the new sites.

This episode is dedicated to Rhavas and Xavier Kaine. It’s not often people ask things of me, but then they do ask nicely I try my best to deliver. Just because these two asked nicely, here is my second CSM 8 panel three days early.

I’m starting to enjoy these shows. They are pretty simple and straight forward. These candidates deliver insightful answers and I didn’t question their sincerity as much as I thought I would. I’ll warn you up front Roc is a card, but that’s just Roc. Unforgiven Storm was refreshingly multidimensional for an industrial candidate. James gave me a little surprise in the episode & did his homework, but I’ll let you discover that for yourself. Ripard was the first person I voted for CSM. I was going to vote for someone else, but I heard him on a Lost in Eve debate and I changed my mind right there. It was an honor to have him on the show. Oh the nostalgia.

This week Voice’s has the pleasure of hosting an incredible PvP panel which has come together to promote the Syndicate Competitive League [SCL]. This week’s guests include Dradius Calvantia [STUGH] and Apathetic Brent [STUGH] the minds and man power behind the SCL along with StarfleetCommander [CRIT] and Bob Shaftoes [STUGH] who are supporters of the league. The four visit the cast to discuss the the SCL, what they hope to accomplish with the league and the plans leading up to the launch of their first tournament.

The SCL is a newly announced persistent player run tournament league which will have matches based from the Test server. With the growing popularity of eSports and streaming, the SCL hopes to push Eve Online into the mainstream by providing frequent matches with quality broadcasting, commentating and all the competitive excitement the game has to offer. Their hope is to turn more people on to Eve Online and PvP as well as create a platform for others to get involved and be a part of this type of game play.

This is a great interview turned casual conversation about spaceships. When you get 4 PvP enthusiasts together and a patch rejuvenating as Retribution has been released, you have to spend a little time talking about spaceships. No regrets.

Lucky for you (and for me) the human EFT app himself, Mr. Balance 101, CCP Fozzie, comes to visit. He corrects all of my errors and schools me when it comes to proper internet spaceships. The episode is jammed full of great content including the New Eden Open and Retribution.

In case you’ve been living in the wrong end of Querious, the New Eden Open is Eve Online’s first cash prize tournament with the purse generously given by Own3d.TV. This week’s guest is Wacktopia, the developer behind the new Eve Online tool Fleet-Up.com. This small gang PvP enthusiast has created the FCs best friend of Eve Online Apps. Fleet-Up.com is a comprehensive tool which allows corporations and alliances to create, maintain and pass on information about operations, fits, doctrines to it’s members in one neat little on-line package. It even comes with some useful reporting tools to help FCs get the most out of their fleet.

This episode is basically broken up in to two segments. There’s the first segment where everything is going fine and the topics focus on the important things like security, ‘is this just a scam’ and what’s next in line for development. The second segment is where Dani runs out of questions and the conversation just sprawls in to Retribution, Theories about the summer expansion and general good old fashioned spaceships. Special thanks for Elise Randolph [Pandemic Legion] and Lazarus Telraven [Goonswarm Federation] for guesting on and then hijacking this special episode. Weighting in at 2:30 hours Elise and Laz discuss from of the ins and outs of Fleet Commanding in a large Null Security Space power block. We detail various fleet compositions, tactics & reasons behind some of the choices Fleet Commanders in Eve Online make.

No topics is left behind. Seriously, these two cover just about everything. Listen to Elise ramble on about bombers & why he hates FCing them only to magnificently bring the conversation back to the actual topic & fleet fight being discussed. Hear tales from Laz about the harrowing feats of Eve Online’s very own Black Knight (of Monty Python fame); IRC. The two even reveal their more sinister secrets such as how Elise doesn’t actually DDoS people and the secret late night LoL matches shared between Laz & Elo.

If you concerned about being one big Goonfest… don’t worry. It is! However, the phrase, “According to The Mitanni…” is only used once. We also do our best not to talk that much shit about -A-, but it is -A- and they are no Gypsy Band.

A lot has been going on in the Eve Online community when it comes to game development, mechanics and events. The conversation is an expansive as the Eve Online universe. The show starts off with a little in-game politics and catching up with in-game activity and then we drive right in to the thick of it. Balance! Design! Iteration! Oh my! There is a lot going on in Eve Online as the Winter Expansion approaches. Two of my favorite people in all of Eve Online and possibly the world join me to talk about everything. Unfortunately we actually did talk about everything and most of that got cut out. In this week’s episode we put the spotlight on some of the ship balancing changes which have made their way to the Features and Ideas forums including, missile and Hurricane balancing, ASB adjustments, ship balance proposals and Unified Inventory updates. Art is also a big topic as the new concept art for the Stabber and Vagabond are released. Wrapping it all up we take a look at one’s man way of creating social change in High Sec.

Hello? Is this thing on? How does this work again? Heh, it has been that long, but I am back! I missed you all and I’ve also miss rambling incessantly about Eve Online for approximately 60 minutes. Getting my podcast legs back during this recording was an interesting thing, but I’m excited to be back at it. I am greatly shamed that it took me a month to get a great interview with Goonswarm Federation Recon Direction, Aryndel Vyst, published.

I cover a good bit of ground in this episode. The episode starts off with a month’s worth of haphazard adventures in space including getting killed in my ratting Ishtar, ganking freighters and my first faction ship roam. I’m late and I’m sorry. This whole bi-weekly thing is not going well for me. Never fear, there is no pod fading or anything like that. It’s just summer and this damnable social life of mine along with the Steam Summer Sale have eaten up a good portion of my free time. Yikes!

This week’s show is like nothing else. The plan was for the episode to be a “phone it in” kind of thing, but my guests really stepped it up. My Amok. bros Jiang Chaobai and Ish Brosef join me for an hour of politics, shit talk, propaganda and good old fashioned internet spaceship talk proper.

The show is just one mass of conversation. In the first half, we discuses Delve 2012. We cover OTEC, SoCo’s down fall and general disappointments. The second half is all about Alliance Tournament X and you just have to listen to that for yourself. We gush over RvB and then Ish let’s us know how he really feels about Zastrow’s contributions.

Apologies to the Voices listeners out there. Since moving to the new format, I have not been on my A-game. Spring/Summer fever hit me a little hard than I thought, but that can keep me away from the spaceship game I enjoy so much for long. As I work on getting my grove back, I’m releasing an episode with a little bit of everything for everybody.

The trolls get a little something to chew on as I detail how I killed all the Scimitars. I also talk a bit about a friend who’s recently joined Eve and the start of their journey into spaceships and addiction.

One year later and 2 days late… my bad.

Yes, it’s been a year for Voices. Huzzah! Lots of changes have happened with the podcast over the year and there are more in this episode. In the economy of time; things are lean at the moment and Voices will be cutting back. The podcast will continue however the full cast will be going to a bi-weekly basis with news only to be published weekly. The full cast will also return to it’s 60 minute format and I wish Marc good luck as he moves on.

With a new year of Voices upon us, there will be some experimentation. Check out Voices News available on YouTube. Be sure to send a little feedback my way as well as suggestions to implement this possible new extension of the podcast.

Hello Voices listeners!

You may have noticed this week’s podcast is incredibly late. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes of Voices from the Void (and in my personal life) and that will be detailed in the podcast that will be released this evening. VandV listeners, this week you are in for a treat. We change things up quite a bit, but we think you’ll really enjoy it. This week’s episode was recorded live on Friday March 30th and features a special guest, great content and the kind of epic fubars that 3 beers and only eating breakfast can create. The announcements got botched, but you’re in luck! They were all covered in the vlog posted last Friday. Take a look at it.

Section 2 [ 00:17:45 ] was turned into the Creamy Filling as The Mitanni stopped by to discuss the future plans of CFC and takes a bit of time to apologize, admit his wrong doing at FANFEST2012 and starts the media blitz to clearing his name. Also, FIRST. I should note that this section is raw audio. I left the audio raw, since this segment was already released on soundcloud (by my own doing) the night of the recording due to quality issues with the live broadcast. I figured it was only fair.

Section 3 [ 00:51:15 ] is the news section this week. We breeze through most of it due to some of it being covered in Section 2. However, congratulations to Rixx Javix on his new found freedom and “HAHA Sucka!” to Marc as he inherits the Blog Pack! Also, a sad fairwell to Wensley as he moves on from Rifter Drifter.

As usual we close out [01:22:00] with our fail mails and screw you Marc. The jerk went to Vegas and left me to edit the podcast. I hope you loose all your money.

This week on Voices from the Void; we boldly go where we haven’t dared go before. We go LIVE! Not only that, but our listeners call in and give their two cents. Agent F and “The Devil” Suleiman Shouaa join us as guests for the wild ride that is this episode.

To commemorate this grand occasion we scraped most of our format and instead do a double stuff’d creamy filling of a show. In segment “2″ we unveil some of the great stuff covered at FANFEST2012, but not everything. The show can’t be all spoilers ya know. In section “3″ we discussion small gang and solo PvP with an incredibly heated discussion on ECM. Mmmm tasty!

It’s like 1:51am right now. I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. Still, here’s the episode. It’s a pretty long one, but we talk about a lot of EVE Online stuff and some non-EVE Online related things as well. Bowdy is on vacation, but Dj Wiggles from EVE Radio was nice enough to come on the show this week to take his spot.
